Been getting such a great response from a lot of people about Jhene’s “3:16AM” record and video. Powerful words and compliments. And the record was just that, from the first time I heard it…powerful. While we were shooting, you just had that sense of what it would turn in to, and how powerful it was becoming. However, there was a point in time where it got to be a bit much. In one of the final scenes I was shooting, I felt a heavy and cold presence over my left shoulder. Right up on me, hovering kinda…next to my neck. There were only four of us in the desert that day, so I didn’t think much of it. With Jhene’s manager still in the car, I figured it was Jhene’s friend Krissy, who might have come inside real quick to see what was going on. People often times try to peak and look at the camera to see what things are looking like…so I figured it was that. Once the take was done, I looked behind me and nobody was there. So I turned around and looked at Jhene and asked her if she felt that ? She said yeah, and kinda had a stunned look on her face. I called for Krissy who was in fact way outside to our right, and asked her if she came inside to peak at any time and she said no. Looked back at Jhene and we ran outta there…
